Full Itinerary

Day1: Arrive Siem Reap – Temple Tour – Night Market
Upon arrival in Siem Reap airport, you are warmly welcomed by our friendly tour guide and transfer to hotel for check in. (Room may not ready till afternoon)
After a short break, get out to visit one of the most popular temples, Ta Prohm (mid 12th – early 13th cetury), it is one of the area’s most beautiful temples. The temple of Ta Prohm was once used as a location in the famous Hollywood film Tomb Raider. Intentionally left partially unrestored, massive fig and silk-cotton trees  grow for the towers and
corridors offering a ‘jungle atmosphere’ and some of the best ‘tree-in-temple’ photo opportunities at Angkor.
Also, if time and energy permit, continue to visit some nearby temples including BanteayKdei, Srah Srong, Ta Keo, Thommanon and Chau Say Tevado temple. Return to hotel, take a break.
Late evening, visit Night Market; there are at least 100 stalls at the Angkor Night Market, and there are a good variety of items here. You’ll find palm wines, silk items (scarves, bags, wallets, lamps, fabrics), artworks, general souvenirs, jewelries, DVDs, books, and they even run a small cinema of documentary movies about Cambodia. Accommodation at hotel.
Day 2: Siem Reap Angkor Tour with Elephant Ride (B/Dinner with show)
Enjoy fresh coffee and wholesome breakfast at hotel, today you will be spending your whole day to explore some of the must see temples. First stop, and let’s experience something exciting, embark on an elephant ride (about 15 minutes ride) from the South Gate of Angkor Thom through the jungle to the famous Bayon temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara
Then, keep exploring the area by visit to the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.
Afternoon, visit the world famous Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat is a World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology.
Evening, visit Bakheng Temple and enjoy a romantic sunset view form Bakheng Hills. Conclude the day with delicious dinner while watching Apsara Dance Show at a local restaurant. Accommodation at hotel.

During the constructional period of the ancient temples in the nineth century, sand stones were brought from this sacred mountain to Angkor. The site is known for its carvings representing fertility and its waters hold special significance to the people of Cambodia.
Just a few inches under the surface of the water, over 1000 carvings of Yoni and Linga are etched into the sandstone riverbed. The river then ends with a beautiful waterfall.

Return back to Siem Reap town, on the way stop by to visit Banteay Srei temple (10th century), regarded as the jewel in the crown of classical Khmer Art. Accommodation at hotel.
